At the end of the first semester of the 2016-2017 school year, Sharyland ISD had 24 bus drivers who achieved perfect attendance.

Each driver was presented with a small token of appreciation from the Office of Human Resources for their remarkable achievement. Our drivers take great pride in their job as school bus drivers and recognize the importance of being here every day to safely transport their students to school in the morning and back home at the end of the day.

At the end of each school year, all drivers are treated to an end-of-year luncheon and those drivers who have maintained their perfect attendance throughout the school year, are awarded “Perfect Attendance” plaques along with an SISD Transportation Jacket with their name embossed on it.
