For the sixth year in a row, Sharyland ISD has received a Postsecondary Readiness Distinction from the Texas Education Agency

Sharyland ISD is proud to announce that they are one of only five districts in the state of Texas to receive this honor every year since its’ inception.

In addition to this recognition, Sharyland ISD also earned an “A” rating in the Texas Education Agency accountability rating system. This is largely in part to the group of dedicated teachers and staff member at each campus. Ten SISD campuses received a letter grade of “A”. These campuses are: Sharyland High School, Sharyland Pioneer High School, Sharyland Advanced Academic Academy, Sharyland North Junior High, B.L. Gray Junior High, Donna Wernecke Elementary, Harry Shimotsu Elementary, John H. Shary Elementary, Lloyd & Dolly Bentsen Elementary and Ruben Hinojosa Elementary.

Sharyland ISD would like to thank its students, staff and community members for continuing its “Tradition of Excellence”. SISD is excited to keep striving to new heights and looks forward to beginning another successful school year.
