Julio Cerda is a parent of three and married to Cuquis Cerda. His
daughter Marcela is a 6th grade student and Ana Paola is a 5th grade
student at John H. Shary Elementary and his son Julio Alberto is a
kinder-garden student at Smart Kids. Mr. Cerda and his family are
members of the San Cristobal de Magallanes Catholic Church.
Cerda was recently appointed by Texas Governor Rick Perry to the Texas
State Board of Plumbing Examiners and holds a public position (term will
expire in 2019). Mr. Cerda is also a member of the Mission Chamber of

and holds a degree in Civil Engineering. He is also the former City
Manager and City Engineer of Mission, Texas.

Cerda was 2010 Man of the year by the Progress Time on Behalf of the
Citizens of Mission; 2010 Appointment by Texas Governor Rick Perry to
the Texas One Call Board; and 2013 Re-Appointed by Texas Governor Rick
Perry to the Texas One Call Board.
